On May 16, 2014, a special exhibition “Colour Palette: Qing Dynasty Colours from Historic Archive Brought to Life” unveils in CNSM. For a better understanding and research, a related scholarly workshop “Imperial Colours and Dyeing of Qing Dynasty: Traditional Dyeing Technology” is held at the sameday, attended by 20 around scholars from Palace Museum, the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University, China Academy of Art, Beijing Hansheng Magazines,etc. who expert in imperial costumes of Qing dynasty and traditional dyeing,and delegates from HK Mengzhou Foundation and Chi Lin Nunnery.
