This year the theme of International Museum Day is "Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion". For museums in China, the forum has been held at Nanjing Museum today, which Mr. Feng Zhao attended and gave a speech on behalf of China National Silk Museum. He talked about the role of museums as cultural hub where diversity, tolerance and equality should be highly advocated. In this light, he introduced the concept and the schedule of the annual "Silk Road Week” that has been planned since 2015 and will be held in 19-24 June this year. The team hopes the "Silk Road Week” will become such a reliable platform gathering museums, relevant organizations and people for bilateral learning and future collaboration.
