On 20th May, 2019, the first Biennale of Natural Dyes unveiled in NSM.

The first Biennale consists of "Colorful World: Natural Dyes" Symposium, workshops,  demonstrations, craft market, open forum and two exhibitions: Multicolored Map: 300-Year History of Dyes on Textiles in Europe and Asia, as well as Natural Dyeing: Contemporary Art and Design Works. More than 150 experts, professors, artists and craftsman from more than 20 countries would participate in the activities.
