An exhibition featuring 3D printed clothes and art ware offers a feast of science and technology at China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Feb 3-27.

Over 100 exhibits made from 3D printing technologies are on display, including the world's first 3D printed wedding dress, resembling the tail of a phoenix, a traditional Chinese icon representing auspiciousness.

On the night of Feb 3, the opening day of the exhibition, a three-hour gala was staged at the museum. Musicians played the 3D printed musical instruments and models wearing the most advanced 3D printed clothes walked on the T station.

Renowned fashion designer Laurence Xu shared his design stories of the 3D armor for the film Once Upon a Time. Experts from China Academy of Art, Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University and Royal College of Art discussed the development trend of 3D technologies in the field of fashion.

The exhibition will run until Feb 27. Visitors are able to take part in a variety of activities such as making 3D printed chocolate, coffee and flowers.
