Xinjiang Workstation of Key Scientific Research Base of Textile Conservation, SACH, is set for the conservation work of textile relics unearthed in Xinjiang area along the Silk Road, by CNSM and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Museum together. The unveiling ceremony was held at August 16, 2011, at the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Museum. The establishment of Xinjiang workstation will be a new start for the textile relics’ conservation in Xinjiang as providing technical support and qualified staff.
