ZHAO Feng and His Party Participate Huangshan Dialogue on UNESCO Designated Places And Sustainable Development (2014-05-27)

On May 27, 2014, ZHAO Feng, director of China National Silk Museum and Key Scientific Research Base of Textile Conservation, SACH, with other 3 members, participates Huangshan Dialogue on UNESCO Designated Places and Sustainable Development – Application of Space Technologies of UNESCO designated World Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserves and UNESCO Affiliated Global Geoparks.

This dialogue, organized by International Center on Space Technologies for Natural and Cultural Heritage under the auspices of UNESCO and Institute Of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences, gathers around 160 participators from over 20 different countries and areas together.

During that time, ZHAO Feng communicates with leaders of State Administration of Cultural Heritage and those of UNESCO, especially with Kishore Rao, director of World Heritage Center of UNESCO, on the planning of establishing "International Research Center of Silk on the Silk Road", a Category 2 Center under the auspices of UNESCO.
