    World Expo, also known as World Fair, is a large public exhibition varied incharacter and held in varying parts of the world. It displays world's achievements in social, economic, cultural, scientific and technological fieldsat highest levels, and influences the development of several aspects of society, including international trade and relations. Here is a saying:“Everything begins with the World Expo.”

    The Early World Expos refer to those between the “first World Expo” (under the title of“Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations”) held in the Crystal Palace in London, United Kingdom in 1851 and the International Expositions Bureau set up in 1928. Though it was an era of industrialization then, Chinese silk, tea and porcelain had still won their reputations.

    This exhibition would like to be a showcase for Late Qing's textiles displayed in Berlin, 1895 and in Paris, 1900, to present how modern China endeavored to open to theworld.
